Votes are in. Major doubt that baby will make an appearance NEXT TUESDAY. Far more belief that baby will show up at the end of next week. That feels about right, if anything can... so strange to try and "feel" for sensations and feelings that I have never felt before. G is very, very excited. I am anxious - hard to be very, very excited for such a huge unknown. Push something the size of a watermelon through something the diameter of a pencil? Sign me up!! Nice part about the human psyche is that we don't remember pain - thank goodness - so it's possible once I meet this little one I will forget all about watermelons and pencils. And be really excessively amazingly happy to say hello for the first time.
So of course that is the major news these days. The other good news is that the bill G was working on and had to present to the WA State Legislature passed out of the Senate Health Committee and has moved on to the Rules Committee! This is the first step in a many step process... but it passed! We'll see what the Rules Committee has to say, hopefully someone on that committee agrees to push it to a second hearing, which would lead to an actual vote... keep fingers crossed!
